By placing reservation with Modern Limousine you acknowledge and expressly agree to the following policies, terms and conditions and further expressly authorize Modern Limousine to charge your credit card in full or part deposit relating to your reservation, including but not limited to, charging your credit card in full for the reservation should you considered a no-show, service is deemed rendered, whether you enter the vehicle or not, when the cancellation period is reached.
Cancellation of sedans, SUV limousines, stretch SUV limousines, stretch limousine and limo buses within 48 hours of a scheduled pick-up will result in a full charge of the arranged rate at the time of reservation.
A ‘no show’ charge is full charge of the fare (full trip) taxes and gratuity will be added to the negotiated price when the passenger fails to show-up at the pick up location.
To avoid a ‘no show’ charge, plz call toll free 1800-345-2548 or 1866-LIMO-786 or 604-524-6410 if you cannot find your chauffer or locate your vehicles.
International Reservations (outside US/ Canada): Modern Limousine requires that cancellation be received; no less than 48 hours prior to p/up time. Round trip orders must be cancelled as two separate orders, if you fail to cancel by the prescribed time frame prior to pickup time, or you will be charged full fare for the trip.
Uncontrollable acts, or acts of mother nature
Modern Limousine is not responsible for acts of mother nature and/or circumstances that are beyond our control; including, but not limited to traffic congestion, road closures, accidents, flight delays, weather delays, etc.
The party paying for the reservation is responsible for all damages and/or cleaning charges incurred by the render and/or party of the render, including but not limited to; vomit/sickness ($150 cleaning fee),upholstery tears ($400-$1000 replacement/ repair), and/ or opening a car door into another vehicle or stationary object ($1000-$2000) etc.
Credit card/ voucher presentation to chauffeur
The actual physical credit card provided at time of booking; unless a signed 3rd party authorization with required documents has been placed on office file prior to pick-up or a corporate account has been activated and all required documents has been received.
Modern Limousine does not sell, rent or disseminate your personal and financial information to any outside third parties.
Modern Limousine service reserves the right to use the information supplied, to provide requested services and collect payment for services rendered in accordance with our rates, terms, and policies.
Airport arrival transfers wait time
Modern Limousine provides up to 60 minutes of free wait time for domestic arrivals and up to 90 minutes for international arrivals requiring custom clearance. on each airport arrival transfer for you to deplane and obtain your luggage. If you do not meet with the chauffeur or call us within 60 minutes (90 minutes for international) of your plane landing we will consider you as a “no show” and you will be charged in full what we agreed at the tme of reservation.
Wait time/ stop time
60 minutes of free waiting time is given on all domestic flights and 90 minutes of free waiting time given on all international flights from the official posted arrival time. Additional waiting time will be calculated in increments of 15 minutes at the vehicles hourly rate. 15% gratuity, 12% HST and parking are additional
For all other reservations, 10 minutes of free wait time is given. Any additional time will be charged in 15 minute increments based on the hourly rate for the particular vehicle.
Passenger requested stops on route during a point-to-point reservation will be charged $10.00 per stop for a maximum of 5 minutes, and changed will revert to modern Limousine’s hourly rate after 5 minutes.
Modern Limousine provides up to a 10 minute grace period at pick-up; before wait time charges apply at hourly rate of vehicle +15% gratuity billed in 15 minute increments. Point to point transfers include all return transfers, cruise ship port transfers, dinner transfers, club transfers, point a to point b transfers and all non hourly reservations.
Hourly reservations and posted minimums
Hourly orders are billed the number of hours you ordered the limo for,then in 15 minute increments thereafter. Minimum posted number of hours; is only the minimum number of hours we will accept an order for not what you billed for. Reductions in the amount of time ordered are not permitted.
Trips starting and finishing weekend & special night between 12:01am and 5:01am will be charged an additional 1 hour extra charges, at the vehicle’s hourly rate.
Wedding, grad, and special event deposit policy
A deposit of 25% of the total price and signed contract are required to hold the vehicle. Deposits are non-refundable, since many of our vehicles are booked a year in advance. Occasionally, we do apply for a partial deposit.
Credit from the deposit to a future event, depending on circumstances and how soon we receive the cancellation.
Vehicle request policy
Modern Limousine reserves the right to upgrade a vehicle request to accommodate a clients reservation at no charge to the client if it deemed necessary. Vehicle type & color can be guaranteed with minimum 4 hour consecutively booking only.
Rates and billing
All rates are subject to audit after the order completion; to include actual tolls, parking fees, additional stops & times allotted, etc. hourly jobs are billed the number of hours you ordered the vehicle for.; then in 15 minutes increments,applicable fees/taxes and a 15% gratuity is extra.
All out of pocket charges, including, but not limited to; road tolls, parking, airport fees will be billed to the client.
Modern Limousine accepts interac, visa, master card, American express, and of course cash. All charges, including gratuities are billed to your credit card/account. Credit cards are changed prior to p/up time. The credit card provided at booking must be present with the cardholder on pickup. Unless a signed 3rd party authorization with required documents has been placed on file and approved by modern limousine prior to pick-up or a corporate account has been activated and all required documents received.
Vehicles images listed on the modern limousine website may differ from the actual vehicle; all vehicles are late model and impeccably maintained.
Lost or damaged items
Modern Limousine is not responsible for items that are left in the vehicle, lost, or damaged. We reserve the rights to charge a delivery fee for returning lost items if found. Our chauffeurs will assist with luggage at a clients request, but assume no liability for damage.
Termination of any reservation by Modern Limousine
Modern Limousine reserves the right to terminate any reservation without refund, if the operator or dispatcher on duty feels that the renter and/or party of the renter is putting the operator or the mode of transportation or the renter an/or party of the renter in danger of injury. Or if the renter and/or party of the renter are in the possession of any illegal material and/or substance, this service will be canceled without refund. Modern limousine reserves the right to refuse service in its sole discretion.
